BFN1KB System (Rev. 2)
The Boingfire BFN1KB Rev.2 represents a significant hardware refresh designed to provide greater flexibility, connectivity, and long-term usability for modern networking and edge applications. While maintaining the original BFN1KB’s compact, fanless design, Revision V2 introduces an updated board platform with expanded Ethernet connectivity, additional expansion interfaces, improved cellular integration options, and more versatile storage support.
These enhancements make BFN1KB V2 better suited for firewall, VPN, SD-WAN, IoT gateway, industrial communication, and remote edge deployments where reliable networking and flexible hardware expansion are important. The updated platform also gives customers more options to customize the system for different connectivity and application requirements without moving to a larger form factor.
Description
The Boingfire BFN1KB has been upgraded to Revision V2 with a newer hardware platform that provides greater connectivity, expansion flexibility, and deployment options. The upgraded design adds more Ethernet connectivity, enhanced storage and cellular expansion support, and a more versatile I/O layout while retaining the compact, fanless form factor suitable for reliable edge, firewall, VPN, and IoT applications.
